I purchased a 2013 Ford fiesta approximately 2 years ago. Have had it serviced 3 times for transmission. Today took it to be serviced for no heat. I live in Maine so we do get snow. Was told the repairs would be $950 to replace blower motor and to cover the vent. This is ridiculous and I really think Ford should cover this cost. It is a safety issue having to drive with a frosty windshield. This week temps - 11.

Is it an ST? I'm aware that the "automatic" Fiestas have had a lot of tranny problems. As far as the blower goes, I'd take it to someone else. I imagine you can get it done much cheaper.

Take a look over at the Fiesta Faction. There are a few threads there with your problem. There is a recall or a service bulletin about the vents getting blocked by snow and other issues.

I owned a .'13 SE for 5 years in upstate NY snow and never had the problem many seem to have had also an '11 for 3.
So I don't know the out come for those that had the problem.
