Hey Everyone

So I just received my RR FiST the 1st of March. I waited about 2 months simply because I wanted the red car

Anyways, the purpose for me getting this car is strictly to turn it into a rally car for Rally America. In the past I have been running a Ford Focus rally car but this year our goal is to step up our program and run the FiST. Our expected day to debut this car is at STPR at Wellsboro, PA in May.

This year NBCSports will be airing the entire Rally America National Championship on tape delay.

NBC SPORTS BROADCAST SCHEDULE (all times EST)
Sno*Drift Rally Airs: April 5, 2:00pm
Rally in the 100 Acre Wood Airs: May 3, 6:00pm
Oregon Trail Rally Airs: June 1, 6:00pm
Susquehannock Trail Rally Airs: June 28, 6:00pm
Climb to the Clouds Airs: July 12, 2:00pm
New England Forest Rally Airs: August 9, 2:30pm
Ojibwe Forests Rally Airs: September 6, 5:30pm
Lake Superior Performance Rally Airs: November 16, 4:00pm

As we progress with the build, I will update this thread, our goal is to increase the exposure of Rally in America and also of our small team based out of Philly.

If you have any question, suggestions, or comments please let me know. I'm always open to ideas, and for rally engine performance and suspensions are a must. Our biggest competition right now would be the current Ford Fiesta R2.

Finally we don't have any major sponsors, our team mostly consists of family and friends but as with any race team funding is critical. We are always looking for sponsors, or a way to partner with companies in an effort that would be beneficial for both parties. If you know of anyone that might be interested to help out please send them our way, we would appreciate it. If anyone is interested and would like further information contact us at: [email protected]

Looking forward to meeting new people and making friends on here.

Thanks

Anthony Concha

FYI, Yes this is the series were the likes of Ken Block and Travis Pastrana race.

Good luck! We're happy to be a sounding board, and you just might pick up a sponsor or two around here.

Rally is on my list, but unless we're talking bikes or Jeeps, I've been strictly a tarmac guy. I look forward to hearing about your progress!

It's great fun to see rally developments here in the US! :)

Thank you, I reallly appreciate it. I hope that this project goes well, and of course I believe it would be a great opportunity for any of the vendors on this forum for sure.

We're even in the process of potentially having a 2nd ST rallycar. Fingers crossed.

Nice! An FIA R3 class car should do well in Rally America. Other than the usual preps w/remote resevoir shocks, cage etc the car is pretty good for that class right out of the box.
Full 3" system w/ spark arrester and a good traction control map w/ quality tune and a good driver/navigator and you should be good!

What is the official class in Rally America since they dont follow FIA rules?

Hello Everyone

Just wanted to post a quick update on my rally build courtesy of Broken Motorsports. Any questions or suggestions are always welcome.

Also if anyone is interested I have tons of interior parts that I'm going to sell. At some point I will post in the proper thread but if your interested in something in particular feel free to PM me.

Enjoy!!!

Thanks

Anthony

Looking good! How much did the various interior bits weigh? I'm slowly dismantling my car, too! I've been surprised just how little everything weighs in this car! What is your target weight when finished?

Are those Sparco seats? I'm starting my search for real race seats to go in alongside a full cage.

We never really weighed the car but you are right a lot of the stuff in very lightweight. My reason for stripping the car is to put in the cage which i guess would add back any weight loss back.

Yes those are Sparco Sprint race seats and if your interested I can give you the info of were I'm getting mine done, he has done a few cages for Fiesta rally cars, he also does, drift and road race cages. Pretty cool guy too.

Hey man no prob. Yes, the car should be ready in time for STPR. My brother is also building one concurrent with mine, his is white. Unless we have any unforeseen delays both cars will be in Wellboro.

We are struggling as far as suspension right now as there aren't many options out there yet. Not to mention the ST setup is different than the regular Fiesta. We do use rally tires, we'll be running Dmacks.

Where do you live?

Plymouth meeting. I was looking at dmacks myself. Just haven't been able to wrap my head around how to cram them in there without rub. Trying to stay mostly stock exception of tires/wheel and thus, suspension. I only do rallyx with BMR but I've definitely been bitten by the rally bug.

Oh cool thats not to far. I live in NE Philly but I actually work in Plymouth Meeting, not too far away from the mall. Once I get the car back you can deff come by and check it out. When we put the rally wheels/tires we're going down to R15's. As far of suspensions out there DMS & Reigers are the best but out of our budget right now. I'm hoping to gain some sponors at some point so that would help. But yea just reach out anytime u wanna chat.
