I have the BC coilovers on my car and it is slightly lower than stock ... probably over an inch lower in the front. Will I have rubbing issues with a 215/45-17? I know the 225/45-16 Direzza rubbed under full compression (only severe bumps or on the autocross course) and the 215/45-17 is over a half inch taller. The math says I will have problems, but I wonder if anybody here is running a 215/45-17 on a lowered car.

I am running 215/45/17 hankooks rs3 on the stock height and I had issues with rubbing on medium to hard turns. I added a bigger sway bar and gave the car a slight lift with coil boosters (temporary fix) and it seems to have solved the problem. At least until I got the car airborn and the tire rubbed the fender again. With a lowered car, unless your suspension is really stiff I wouldnt do it in my opinion.

That's exactly the feedback I was looking for, thanks!
