This will be a great improvement.
I have a prototype from another company that has decided not to produce at this time.
You WILL enjoy the results.

Its a pretty simple install and you dont really need a press (although it helps). One method is to just cut the bushing shell (not the outer mount) and fold it inward. Then it will drop out. Our delrin mount is an interference fit, meaning you can push it in by hand. And bc its delrin, it wont wear away or deform over time.

When I first looked at the picture immediately I was concerned with to much added noise, vibration, etc but I recalled the front part is rubber as well but solid. I removed the mount to check it out and it seems it would be just fine with the delrin in the rear and offer a more solid mounting than using urethane as in the others I have seen.

I have made plenty of my own mounts by pouring them into molds but this one is a nice simple and very affordable solution so will probably order one soon but waiting on the word on the quick shifter and cowl intake.

Any word on how long they will be at the $59 reduced price?

Is installation as simple as it seems? (Support engine with jack or hoist, unhook old RMM and put in new?) Even though I'm sure this is engine modding 101, a how-to with pictures would be helpful.

Adam, Joe can add more, but the 2J piece is just an insert. You have to remove the factory bushing from the big end of the mount and replace it with the Delrin insert. Joe said a press is not required, but helpful.

Got the new mount installed today, ended up taking it to a friends shop because my press decided to lose a seal. Afterwords I did a few launches off the 2 step and grabbed second and it feels very solid moving very little and preventing the hard knock and wheelhop everyone is used to. Only drawback I could find is some users may dislike that there is more resonance or vibration then stock that can be felt at low speeds and cruising if you have it in too high of a gear. Now that being said I had a complete Full Tilt Boogie Delrin kit on my Terminator and after some miles where put on it softened enough to were it wasn't noticeable to me anymore. I would rather have a a little more vibration than come out of a corner to hard or launch to hard on sticky tires and break a shaft because of movement. I am very happy with the price and the product and I believe we have another win for Joe in my book for what its worth. Now I just have to wait for his Intake.

I install the RMM today and I've determined that it's not the right product for me. There is too much vibration at certain RPM ranges. I knew there would be some, but it's pretty annoying for me. I'm going to try the Cobb version.

You may want to give it a few days, mine seems a bit quieter second day of driving, it should loosen up a bit for you after some miles.

I've got the Cobb version on order. I'll report after the install.
