Have an off-topic section or expect off-topic threads in the chat/discussion section. Not specifically by me, but it is bound to happen unless you intend on doing some strict policing.
I am predicting with all the anticipated new-blood to our community that won't be the case. There has to be a starting point before you become Facebook friends. I don't think everyone uses Facebook anyway.
