I didn't want the built-in Nav system. It was the only option I didn't want. I ended up with it because it was on a car that was already on the ground. I got X-plan pricing so it was a bit cheaper than MSRP. Now that I have I have used it a few times and I have been happy with it. It does warn you of traffic and construction along your planned route so it's better than most of the built-in systems I have used in the past. It's no Google maps, and certainly won't be updated as often as systems available on smart phones, but it is a very usable system IMO.
