Hey everyone,

I apologize if this is a redundant topic, but has anyone heard any updates about firmware/hardware upgrades for Andriod Auto/Apple Carplay support on 2016 FiST's with Sync 3?

Yes, but it will need the firmware update to come out for the hardware to be installed and work I would only assume.

Spoke with a ford dealership today, they still have no idea. Anyone else heard anything?

Haven't heard anything new, but it's pretty dang close to the end of the year. I'm betting it still won't be out by then...

Apparently, if you're resourceful, you can find a download link for the update separated between with-nav and without-nav. Also, there is a USB-based device required for Apple Car Play. I have no details for you beyond that, sorry.
