I think the title pretty much says it all. I'm pretty confident there won't be issues, but I figured I'd ask and see if anybody knew more than I do. I'm looking for a performance All-season and there's pretty much nothing available in the 195/40 size that Ford suggests.
Dedicated winter tires are not an option, by the way; I'm in the Los Angeles area and getting to anywhere with snow means at least a 40mi freeway drive in 50-70 degree temps. I can always choose not to go to the ski resorts if the weather is too bad too, I just need something that I can legally drive up the mountains with. (They have chain checkpoints and won't let you up the hill without them during the winter, even if it's bone dry and they're just sitting in the trunk.)
