This weekend I put on the Mountune Quick Shift kit, and then went for a test drive. Everything felt great. I can't see how there would be any connection, but the first time I tried taking off quickly 1st gear worked great, shifted to 2nd and it just melted the clutch. I babied it for a few days, and everything feels fine, but if I try flogging the car I get clutch slippage in 2nd and 3rd gears... no problems at all in 1st.

Any ideas?

I'd be uninstalling the short shifter, and if the problem still exists, heading to the dealer. The QS, however, should have no bearing on clutch engagement.

Yeah, that was my plan of attack as well. I just wish the QS wasn't such a PITA to install, but I guess 2 hours of work is better than destroying my clutch.
