We are expecting a child this July I have the fiesta ST just wondering if anybody else has a rear facing baby seat, and how it fits? Good bad?

I don't see how you could get a rear facing seat in the car...even if you are short. Especially, the true infant car seats that have the more recline position. Forward facing works okay.

Thought i saw someplace where it could be done with the baby seay in the center of the rear seat faceing backwards and it was a very tight fit..
Recaro's on STD sport seats ??

I don't know for sure but I think the Recaro's may have a little less room in the back seat because of the heavily bolsterd backs but I can't find the thread .. yet..

I can fit the rear facing infant on passenger side and a toddler seat on driver side forward facing. Haven't tried rear facing toddler. This is a tight fit though.

I have a 3 year old in a rear facing sunshine kids radian xtsl or something like that. It's a taller but thinner seat. Also have an 'angle adjuster' made by the same company, Diono works pretty well but still leaves little room in the front for a passenger. But doable.

I have another baby coming in May so if I have to I'll be attempting to fit a basket seat and forward face the other. I have recaros too.

I posted in one of the threads that Rodmoe linked, but with my car seat (Chicco keyfit 30) did NOT fit with the Recaros, but did fit with the standard seats (in the middle only)

It can be done. It worked best for me to have the seat mounted in the center. That way it could ride between the two front seats. The leading edge of the baby seat wound up right behind my shoulders. With the seat in the middle, it does limit additional backseat passengers to very slender people.

I started a thread on Fiestast.org called "the FiST will baby" or something like that, that has pictures. It also has pics of stuff like the stroller and pack & play loaded in the trunk. If you need, I can re-post pictures.

It's never that easy. I lost the receipt for mine. The hospital won't even give you a credit without that receipt.

Yea it's a little tight for a taller person but not a deal breaker. I took a pic of the space at the front. my wife is good there but she's small. I've never sat there though... Maybe I should give it a try.
