BC Coilover Group Buy with Joe @ 2J Racing

Here's a place to talk about our proposed group buy with 2J Racing.

Several of us expressed interest in buying a set of coilovers, and it's time to see if we have seven or more members willing to commit.

I'm in for a "street setup". I'd like to preserve near-stock ride height, and I'm also interested in options for inverted body shocks and a remote reservoir setup. I don't know if this is even an option for our application, but I'd like to find out.

Assuming seven, what's our price for the standard build, each?

Who's in? :)

From His WebSite ring him up and get on this Deal ...
The fastest way is to use his linked web form. There was a minor issue, but it's fixed now (having to do with availability of 4K springs in the drop-down form on rear spring selection).
I just ordered my set, how come they not here yet? Lol

Haha! I feel the same way. :)

Once BC confirms they have the template, we should get an update pretty fast.
Ray, we got yours too - thank you

Made it all the way through, placed order and received "This merchant does not receive this type of payment American Express."

I don't carry my Visa card with me, so I'll have to remember to find it when I get home tonight.
Yes, unfortunately we take everything inc paypal but Amex.

I just talked to Joe about this. Unless you specify otherwise, it's 6K front, 4K rear. I went with this.

This came up because he does a lot of Nissan B15 work and uses 7K back there most often (and his site didn't let you actually pick lower than 5K at first!).
OK we had talked about him putting 5k in my set for rear springs

Rod, all sets are built to go up to 8K front and 6K rear if you want to. I am riding on 5Ks now in the rear and its a little harsh

Ok no worries .;)

Is the last number on the springs the spring rate ?? like 62.180.006 is that a 6k rate and a 004 would be 4k ?

Noob question and just making sure....the lower the k the softer the spring rate?

Yes, but you have to take into account how low you want to go (height). How you want the car to rotate. The balance between the front and rear rates, etc.
