So I was just in my car and noticed it seemed to be dragging a lot. When I got out I noticed a burning smell. I realized that my parking brake won't fully disengage. The brake lever itself is all the way down but when i pull up on it it moves about 3-4 inches before there's any resistance. I'm not sure if it's related or not but while I was driving the ABS and traction control lights came on because i was on an icy road. Please tell me someone has an easy fix for this!

Drive backwards a few feet. That's the simplest trick I've found to unstick a parking brake. Having said that, it's not a fix for a totally screwed up problem. I'm sure the ABS and Traction Control lights were triggered by it. Good luck!

Ive had the entire rear breaks replaced 1.5years about 35000km they were sticking on ever time they got wet. And now have the front doing it too.
