I just got the price back from the machine shop for the Shift Ball Adapter.
It is a little more than I expected.
It is however a high quality American made piece, made from 6061-T6 aluminum.
The shift ball itself is available from a well known vender, available in many Ford matching colors, with or without graphics, logos, or shift patterns.
The price of the ball starts at less than $50.00 (mine was $46.00).
The adapter will be about $45.00 and will be sold by a vender on this site.

If there is any interest please contact me by PM as we are trying to gauge the quantity of adapters to have made.
Please tell your Focus friends as this will fit their cars as well.

Nice ball(s) Dave. Is installation as simple as unscrewing the stock shift knob and replace it with the ball/adaptor?
Yes, it is as simple as that.
The ball will come with a jam nut (used on most cars) to lock it in place.
This is also to index the ball if you have a shift pattern, stripes or logos.

Our cars have the reverse lockout, this is why the adapter and the adapter replaces the jam nut.

It has been decided that a small run (10) of the adaptors will be made.
The price will be $45.00 USPS shipping within the USA only will be included.
Per orders will now be taken.
As soon as 5 per-orders are received the parts will go to production.

The adapter is finally here! We can finally have different colored balls. It says it's for the Mustang and Focus, but it also works with the Fiesta.

That adapter would allow me to use something silly like this: http://www.twmshiftknobs.com/shiftknobs/shiftknobs_shop15.php?gearknob=Ford Mustang 2011+&twmonly=

Correct? That is one for a 2011 Mustang and from a quick search online it is the same thread pitch as the 2015 Mustangs which is the same as the Fiesta ST

Nice balls everyone. What do you recommend to clean your balls? Microfiber, wet cloth, loofah?

Also, this thread should probably be moved near the "cleaning salty carpet" interior detailing thread I saw above.

Yeah . . . sorry.
