I was browsing the myford website, and saw a link for dealer offers/coupons, checked mine and saw a couple of interesting items. One was this: "Free, multi-point inspection. A technician will check fluid levels, tire tread depth and wear pattern, battery, brakes, shocks and struts, engine cooling system, hoses and clamps, driveshaft, transmission, U-joint and shaft linkage, exhaust system and more." (The other was a synthtic blend oil change for $25.)
Seems like a prudent move to make sure we haven't rattled anything loose on our new STs and to have peace of mind re: loose boost hose clamps. And if this promotion is being used just to sell service, anything found should be under warranty.
