I took delivery of my factory ordered Fiesta ST on September 27th. My dealer tells me it's the first retail sale of a Fiesta ST in the state of Nevada.

I ordered the car way back in June and it finally arrived while I was on vacation. Picked it up when I got back 2 weeks ago.

And my first 'mod':

Since these pictures were taken I installed the real license plates (bye-bye temp tag!) and upgraded the mounting screws to stainless steel while I was at it.

And now for a few updates...

Switched out the boring default MyFordTouch wallpaper for one I whipped up in Photoshop. Looks much better now:

I posted this wallpaper in the thread a while back if anyone wants it.

On Sunday I scotchgarded the interior of my car. I had to mask off the leather of the Recaros since you don't want this stuff on leather. I also did all the carpeting and the rear cargo area:

I have a few more things trickling in that I hope to get installed over the weekend.

I like the Scotchgard idea.
I was going to do that this weekend.

Dave
I did two coats on the seat fabric and one coat everywhere else, and needed 2 cans. You might need more/less depending on how many coats and what you spray.

Even with the plastic bags and tape, there were a few spots where I got scotchgard on the leather, and it's now shinier in those places. Be careful :)

I copied the file and downloaded to MFT as well. Thank you very much. It really completes the display without being too obtrusive.

My all-weather ST mats were waiting for me when I got home from work so I threw them in tonight.

Here's a comparison shot with the mats that came with the ST.

These should be great for all the mud and snow coming soon.

Did you get these off eBay? My dealer said they still cannot order them In Canada. But they look like they are available in the US.
I got them through [email protected] Cheaper than eBay by about $10.

Oh right Steve. Thanks!

Finally slapped my winter setup on yesterday - and good timing, as I woke up to 1/2" of snow this morning! :)

I'm running 195/45 R16 Pirelli Snow Control II's on 16x7" Sparcos. Ride is softer than stock, but not squishy like some other snow tires can be.

I also cleaned the car on Saturday, no before/after shots but here is my equipment setup:

I didn't get a chance to wax the car - too cold and windy - but it still shined up nicely.

Awesome! Looks great.

What's the red strainer looking thing?
Grit guard. Keeps the dirt where it belongs, in the bucket, instead of on your cleaning supplies. Less chance of swirling/scratching paint.

Google it, they are quite good at doing what they promise.

I got these too but from the dealer. They ended up giving them to me at cost. still pretty expensive bust cheaper than ordering myself and paying for shipping. Very happy with them though.

When I try to go to order accessories on their website, click Ford accessories, it comes back with server not found. Anyone else have this issue?
I was having website issues over the weekend when I tried ordering the cargo liner. You're not alone.

I took advantage of the unusually warm weather and washed and waxed the car on Sunday. I've got to say, Optimum Spray-on Car Wax is amazing. It goes on like water - it's so thin you don't think it can possibly work - but it shines up well with some light buffing. Highly recommended.
Installed the cargo liner today. It is a thick textured plastic, similar to truckbed liners and way better than the flimsy rubber one I had in my Accord.

It will not work with the load floor in the lower position.

This makes me very disappointed. I told my mom to get it for me for Christmas. But if it doesn't work on the lowest position, then I don't want it. It's dumb that the ST even has the load floor up that high
I would prefer the load floor in lower setting + proper finishing... of course.. However, so far.. I've just been using that area to store things that I don't necessarily want touching the carpeting, or visible in plain sight... An organizer of sorts under there would be nice..

I still have not been able to get the spare tire low enough to bring the load floor down to the bottom setting.. Not even close.

I do the same. I posted this a while ago but this is my solution.
