While driving today, I started to feel a pop when releasing the clutch, just in the top inch or so. Everything seems to be functioning the same; however, it is really annoying to have the pedal pop my foot up every time I shift. Has anyone had this happen before?

Yes, mine does it as well. The noise is kind of temp related where some days it is horribly loud and persistent with every shift. On days when it is either warmer or colder, the popping is less and not there at all. Right now, it pops like crazy!

I don't actually hear a sound, I just feel the pedal pop up. I took it to a dealer (the repair center was closed), and I compared it to an ST in the shop. I could feel a slight pop when releasing the clutch pedal of their show model, but it was significantly more mild than what I am feeling in mine.

I had a MAJOR problem with my car. The clutch pedal started doing this and then started coming up slower and slower. With the car off step on the clutch and lift off as fast as you can. With my car there was a pronounced delay in the clutch coming up.

TO make matters worse, they really screwed up my car when they fixed it. (the gear box had to come out to replace the slave cylinder).
I will never never never buy another ford again or bring my current car to a ford dealer to fix.

good luck, i hope the same thing is not happening to you.

It turns out I'm just not used to new cars. I've never used a hydraulic clutch, so it'll take some getting used to!
