as an owner of a WRX modified to run e85 and using access tuner race and using your turbo back exhaust i am very interested in what you come up with both for tuning and bolt on exhaust options.... note that i run a slightly larger turbo, and top mount so my modifications are a modest 'stage III'.

perusing whats been done for the focus ST, i dont have a lot of expectations about running setups that require more fueling than the current injectors/pump modificaiton/replacement.

im looking for a new 'project car' and the fiesta st is high on the list.. though i would almost kill for an AWD version of this car...

comments?

likely upwards of 300BHP will be available from this car (with standard bolts ons of bigger intercooler, intake, full turbo back exhaustand tune and *maybe* a little bigger turbo) . TQ will likely get up in the 300lbs range too in a much lighter package that what a subi or other AWD cars can deliver. You cant make an already fat car light and thats the draw back to AWD cars.

It's probably a little too early to see how people are going to deal w/ the big power increase. Can we squeeze 8" wheels under the fenders? Quaife or other LSD? launch control via the ecu? This car has the potential to REALLY catch other cars sleeping. November and SEMA cant come soon enough!

The mTune from mountune will have only their specific calibrations and those will most likely not be available to use on a different Accessport, sorry! Currently, they only support AU/EU models of the Fiesta ST.

I think we are wondering about the US Mountune support. As they say they are releasing their MP215 kit sometime this month in the US market. If, they indeed use the mTune as means of flashing their tune to our cars, is the unit locked so that we can not use additional COBB tunes in the future for when more COBB hard parts are released.

This is some great news im hearing. if i read correct as of right now over 250 bhp is not possible with the stock turbo?
Thats what we have been speculating so far. Likely close to a 250lbs/tq and 250bhp engine is max on the stock turbo. But, this is all speculation so far until we see the power the SEMA cars end up puting down. Simply not enough people have messed with it yet or made their #'s public.
