USDM 2014 Fiesta ST Support

We are very excited to be first to market with a tuning solution for your USDM 2014 Fiesta ST! Our FOR-001 Accessport will now support the 2014 Fiesta ST. Available immediately is beta vehicle support which includes our v100 Stage 1 OTS Maps for 91 or 93 octane fuel. Also available are non-performance maps such as Anti-Theft Mode, Economy Mode, Valet Mode, and Stage0. Simply update to the latest firmware to add Fiesta ST support to your Accessport!

Internal testing continues on this platform; expect to see additional maps as well as hard parts become available in the near future!

Thank you for your continued support!

stock fueling is good up to around ~250bhp .. after that you need upgrades but we still don't know if it'S the fuel pump or the injectors ..
Who says that?

Who has made 250 HP with an ST?

I think fuel issues are a great big unknown until we hear about someone actually running out of fuel.
We have "heard" that the fuel system should support power up to about 250bhp, but we will find out once we continue testing (after SEMA)!

If you look at the Bosch web site, it looks like they only make one basic type of direct injection fuel pump. If that is true, the capacity is going to depend on the HPFP cam lobe which would suggest that a custom cam could give the 1.6 as much capacity as a 2.0 or more.

I think someone needs to put a Focus ST cam in a cam doctor, do the same with a 1.6 cam and compare notes.

You're making about 300 HP with the Focus ST, right?

Unless the Fiesta injectors suck, I don't think fuel will be much of a problem.

I have a big list of questions for the Bosch, Ford and Borg Warner engineers at SEMA. I really hope I can make it, I just got my registration but things at work are getting busy...
Hi guys got my Cobb access port from a vendor and when I opened the sealed box it came in it had the wrong USB to handheld cable in the package for connecting it to my pc .. Just a FYI as I am in contact with the concerned parties ..
What cable did you receive? I thought it was just a micro USB cable. I only did it once, I'll check later.

I heard that Fiesta ST injectors might max out around 250 HP but I'm not sure exactly what that means or if they were using a stock fuel pump or cam.

I really wish Bosch was there because I think they might have been able to answer a few of my questions with more authority because:

Roush 3.5 EcoBoost 700 hp, 6 injectors, ~115 HP/injector.

EFR turbo on a 2.0 EcoBoost runs out of fuel around 340 HP, 4 injectors, ~85 HP/injector.

Nurburing 1.0 EcoBoost 220 HP, 3 injectors, ~73.3 HP/injector.

Fiesta ST 1.6 EcoBoost 250 HP, 4 injectors, ~62.5 HP/injector.

Why does the 1.6 get the smallest injector? It doesn't make sense and when I see that I question if the 250 HP ceiling is a limit of the injector or a combination of injector size and insufficient fuel volume from the high pressure fuel pump.

If we've had the same injector that they used in the 1.0, that ceiling would move from 250 to 293.3 assuming the high pressure fuel pump had 33.3% more volume than the 1.0.

I'm more than willing to create a tune with reduced boost at high rpm if that meant a flat 250 HP from 5,500 rpm to 6,500 rpm.

Yes I need a micro plug but I got the bigger mini USB plug .. Hope I am the exception
Sorry about that! Did you already call us to get the correct cable? If not, just PM me your address and I can send you one on Monday.

Any updates COBB?

This was posted quite a few months back. Also any info on the reports that the 93 map seems to be weaker than the 91 map?

Thank you.

We are still working on production hard parts and finalizing the Stage 2 and Stage 3 maps! Hopefully we will have more details soon once we get a bit closer.

On the 91 and 93 maps, peletonracer2 took his Fiesta ST to our COBB Plano location and did some comparisons with the OTS Stage 1 mapping. You can see the 93 map power gains over the 91 maps below.
