Yesterday while jumping on the freeway, shifting into 2nd it sounded like the motor hit the firewall. Has anyone else had this issue?

I heard of this happening with the Cobb before I got my RMM. So I went with another brand: CP Engineering.

I have not had this happen, but I installed snow tires at the same time I did the RMM. Due to the lack of traction with the snow tires, I can't generate enough acceleration forces to have the issue.

I have had mine for over 6 months and it cured that problem! With the stock RMM, I would always have a bang into the firewall sound when going fast and shifting hard 1-2 shift - no longer. Check your work.

Same even with me doing a fuel cut launch the Cobb rmm does its job.

It's just the torque resistor (some call it the rear motor mount) bottoming out. Nothing is hitting the firewall.
