Does anyone know if the black and white FiST colours offered in Australia the same as those offered in the US? i.e. Is it the same paint just named differently depending on region?
Also, do the paint options differ elsewhere in the world?

AU = Molten Orange, Performance Blue, Panther Black, Frozen White, Race Red. (Green and Silver noticeably absent from the Aussie lineup).

US = Molten Orange, Performance Blue, Tuxedo Black, Oxford White, Race Red, Ingot Silver, Green Envy.

I believe that most are the same colour, give or take slight differences depending on location of manufacture.
German factory (Euro and Australian 3 door ST's) or the Mexico factory (America's 5 door ST).
On the ford.co.uk english site they get:
Molten Orange, Spirit Blue, Pather Black, Frozen White, Race Red.
Interesting the Spirit Blue looks alot lighter than Performance Blue. (Because the UK is so gloomy?)

Also, just for Interest sake, here are the colours from the French ford site :)
Blanc Glacier, Rouge Racing, Noir Scala (metallisee), Bleu performance (metallisee) and Molten orange (metallisee)

What do you mean by this?

My PB looks much darker when it's gloomy and I love it. In the sun it sparkles and it's beautiful, don't get me wrong, but in overcast I love it's dark look.

You think they lightened the UK colour so that in overcast it looks like the US colour in the sun?

I think the colours are the same, just with different names. The 'traditional' Performance Blue (from Mk VI Fiesta and Mk II Focus) are much lighter than the current US-named Performance Blue, which the rest of the world knows as Spirit Blue.

If anything, the latest blue harks back to Imperial Blue from the Mk I Focus ST170/SVT.

Panther Black (metallic) and Frozen White (flat) have retained names from previous incarnations and would be the same worldwide, irrespective of name, I'd imagine. Same goes for orange.
