Vent pod would be amazing. I know they make it for mustang. I wonder how different the actual hole is.

Ms3 has vent pods available. They use a circular vent too on the left. From pics they look pretty similar in size.

I realized when I read the title to this thread that it's been many long years since cars have had actual steering wheel "columns". Nowadays it might be better called a steering wheel attachment unit. With multiple levers and switches, and the key receptacle moved up there, there's no way for a simple column to provide that function anymore. Luckily, we also no longer have a column to drive thru our chests from a front end collision....
