They only cover the inner part. That's why I went with the black/chrome option. It looks closer to stock and blends better than the other badges I've seen.

Did you also get the steering wheel one? Just curious as to how that looks in chrome.

I also see the confusion. The front and rear badge at 100mm will cover the inner part. However the steering wheel badge at 58mm will cover the entire badge since it doesn't have a bezel type thing like the exterior badges.

Ugh. And here I thought I was doing things right.... It's even cheaper at DMB.co.uk. Crap. Are the 2012 mk7 facelift badges the correct ones for our car? I don't see sizes for the outside logos.

Yup that's them, no sizes provided I just know because I measured my badge from them when i received it. I went with black/chrome on the exterior. Shit I wish I realized you didn't order from UK I would have suggested them.

I ordered a set from DMB and a set from HEKO (the place you ordered from), both look identical, but domedbadge.co.uk offers more color choices than DMB does. 55mm fits fine on the steering wheel.

Well that's good to know just in case they don't want to cancel my order. I'm just worried about the height sizes now. 100 and 55 are the length I'm assuming.

They cancelled the order for me. Just have to measure to be sure of the correct size. Once I get bored of the plain Ford logo I'll probably order from them to get a custom emblem. They have quite a few pre made images but I didn't know you could make your own...even though that the title of this thread :facepalm:
