Cruise control operation?

When you push the cruise control "On" switch does the indicator lamp come on in the cluster in your ST or do you have to push the "Set" or "Resume" button to get the lamp to come on? The owner's manual says it does come on with the "On" button and I'm sure mine did but now it doesn't until the set or resume buttons are used.

I push, "on" then "set". Pretty sure thats when it comes on
Accelerate or decelerate to your desired spead, press on, then up or down. A green circle should light up on your dash indicating cruise control is on.

You can then use up or down to accelerate and decelerate respectively. Like playing an old school video game...

The On button turns the cruise control electronics on, but indicator lamp won't come on until you are actually cruising. In other words, you also need to press Set or Resume for the green light to come on.
