I don't know if there are other military members stationed overseas here, but I wanted to see be prepared if you plan on using the new car purchase program. I was originally told my car would be ready on 2 Feb, and I was notified that the date would be pushed to 10 Feb about a month ago. This was not a big deal, but I had to exchange my train tickets. This past Friday (2 business days before pickup), I was told that my date would have to be pushed until Friday 13 Feb. It was only a few days difference; however, I had to run around and get new train tickets to the port of pickup, reschedule my car registration, contact a tire place in Germany to reschedule the installation of winter tires on the day of pickup, in addition to rushing to change my leave dates. This was all do to a "paperwork error." Is this common? (This is my first new car purchase).

Not common, but it happens. After 2 BMWs and 2 MINI purchases with problems and delays, I jumped ship and am now on my third vehicle through ENCS. With regard to changing out tires, is this something that can be pre-arranged or will you be using new rubber on stock rims? Good luck!

I had to get new rubber on the stock rims. I'm going to put the summer tires back on, and order a new smaller tire/wheel set for next winter.
