This is the Reply I Got from my dealer Aug/6/2013 about my Dark wheels on my Order (note I have since gotten a VIN and they are telling me I have a Sept 9th week for the build)

Rumor is true, but a wheel "shortage" rather than "none available". We call these "Controlled Commodities" where a vendor can't supply enough of a part. Ford prioritizes orders with Controlled Commodities by date received and retail (sold) order versus stock order.

Hmmmm if the wilwoods come in black or yellow I may be able to do a seasonal change like I will my wheels !!! Great idea keeping the car looking new and exciting
But I basically went for the dark wheels to hide the brake dust as well as give it the different look. The calipers were a non factor so they are just gravey
