So I just bought a used downpipe. For some reason I feel like I should clean it... I can't find anything online about cleaning a downpipe. What would you guys reccomend using for cleaning it?

The outside? If so, an sos pad and some furious elbow will polish it up ish. It's likely off colour due to heat though, which won't come off.

The outside is fine, I'm talking about the inside and the threads for the O2 sensor. Should I clean those and with what? I don't want to start a fire the first time I start it lol. Or should I just leave it how it is. The outside is pretty clean other than a tiny bit if corrosion

I'd probably leave it, though you could just wire brush the threads on the sensor bung.

That's what I'm thinking, gonna have to get the brush anyways for the corrosion.
