ENGINE BUILD POWER POTENTIAL?

I know im not the only one thinking this question. Professionals please give your 2 cents. Im curious how much power the 1.6 is capable of when rebuilt. Also what should we be looking at price wise for the build.

Nobody to my knowledge has ever found the limit of the engine with all stock internals, let alone built it. Right now the limitation is the high pressure fuel pump as it can't supply enough fuel to make enough power to break the motor as it is from the factory.
