So, my FiST has the heated seats but I find it somewhat annoying that it has only one setting, thermonuclear, while the Euro FiST has a two setting system (based on the Chris Harris On Cars "First Drive" video). Does anyone know if it would be possible to retrofit the Euro system to a USDM FiST?

+1 to that! I would love to figure that out even if I have to do something custom. I just don't know enough about heated seat electronics.

Well as far as I can tell, the seats themselves are the same, so really, it's either the switch itself or something coded into the car's ECU, the former seems more likely.
