Not bad at all, the drone is virtually non existent on the highway but adds that much needed sound when you get in the gas. These cars are insulted very well and not sure if you know but they actually have a system that pumps exhaust sound thru the speakers.

Are you talking about the sound symposer? I don't think that was through the speakers i think its actually natural engine noise pumped through a tube off the intake into the cabin through the firewall somewhere.

Regardless thats good to hear that there is virtually no highway drone. I love the way this sounds, its how an angry little hot hatch like the FiST should sound. I'm sure some of our elder members won't be pleased but it is what it is. You don't happen to have any pictures of the underside of the car with the straight pipe installed do you?

I completely agree, I feel as if it should have a more aggressive sounding exhaust and even though this is a straight pipe the noise is not obnoxious like it is on some. Also the cost of this was $250 at the local exhaust shop which is a fraction of the cost of the name brand exhausts out there. I will post pictures ASAP!

Yeah its almost got that famed 500 abarth sound going on which makes sense since its also a 1.x liter turbo four banger with a straight pipe system.

I have a local exhaust shop that i have visited several times that would love to do this for me for probably around $300 installed which you just cant say no to.

Any pics you have or additional videos would be awesome. Thanks a lot man!!

It seems a bit raspy for my taste.

On our exhaust, power seems to come when you get rid of the restrictive downpipe, not the muffler.

If you go for an off road downpipe, suddenly you're going to need that muffler because it will be really loud without it.

If sound is you're thing, go for it.

My philosophy is wait for a system that sounds good and is dyno proven.

The negative to my philosophy is I'm still waiting.
