Does anyone have the Fiesta ST cargo mat for the trunk? I saw in another forum that someone said it will not fit if you have the floor load to the lowest position. Is this true? If so, it's kind of dumb that they designed it like that because I hate how high up they have the floor. You can barely fit anything in the trunk unless you put it at the lowest position.

I have it as well. Just like the other post. Looks the same. I think ford designed the st to not do the dual floor. Yes a dumb thing but there's probably a reason. Even if it's a dumb one.

Since the cargo may for the st is designed that way I'm sure that ford thought that the floor shouldn't go in the lower position.

That being said. The regular fiesta rear mat does have the grove to homonym the lower position. Doing it fits that might be a better bet. It just won't say "ST" on it

And for reference...

For the ST

For regular fiesta

The notch in the other one would suggest it can go in the lower position. But I'm not sure if it would go in the upper position...

The ST one has the groves moles in the top right and left that fit over the plastic holders on the sides. The regular one doesn't.

That was me who posted about the mat not fitting... If I ever need the floor in the lower position I'll just leave it in the garage.
If money isn't an issue, you could likely buy both, I'm pretty sure that the regular Fiesta one would fit under the load floor tray - might need to shim it around the spare using wood, foam etc.

I wound up taking off the two plastic brackets for the load floor. It's just one screw on each side and they come right off. This way the load floor lays flat on the spare tire without any finicky adjustments. There is a substantial metal tab hiding inside the plastic cover that bears the bulk of the weight, so if you need to lay the load floor panel in the higher position, you still can. The only reduction in function is that you cannot raise and lock the floor in the upward tabs.

When I was messing around with this, I assumed it didn't fit because our spare tire is wider than the stock fiesta. But all in all it seems like an awful design. Thanks for the tip about taking the plastic brackets off Cligedy, that's what I'm doing when I get home.

This was something I noticed right away about the FiST. The wasted space below the trunk floor bugged me as my subaru had a tray that I used to put all kinds of stuff from extra clothes and shoes to emergnecy supplies. I solved the problem by going to target and buying a collapsable under teh bed storage bin. Its a nylon cloth box with a clear top and zipper so I can see everything that is in it and it fits snug in the back of the car. Was a great way to fix one of my only complaints about the trunk area.

I have the 4 interior all weather mats on order from the dealer but was wondering where I could get the ST trunk mat. Is that something that is online only or can it be ordered from ford? They list a ST specific mat but it doesn't have the ST logo in the picture.

Hopefully I have the right stuff coming from the dealer...

Where did most people get their trunk mat and what does it cost?

Thanks.

I have both mats.
I have set my floor to be permanently in the lower than lowest position by removing the full size spare.
I am therefore using the non-ST mat.
I will be putting the (never used) ST Cargo mat up for sale next week, $85.00 shipped.

I might take you up on that offer. I have to see what the dealer comes back with. I'm gettin the inside and trunk may at cost as a part of my deal. Just waiting to see if the right trunk mat comes in.

If you order one of these, 8A6Z-5811600-A, you currently get one of these: EE8Z-6111600-CA

It fits over the tire with a little bump, but the plus is that now I can use the tray in the upper or lower position and stuff doesn't fall down in the tire or as easily under the rear seats. The plastic is fairly flexible and allows the plastic shelf positions to stay in place as well as the two cubbie holes in the rear area.

Yeah, I tried ordering the rigid tray and ended up with the flexible one that you also got. I have my shelf set to the lower position with the mat on top and it was a pain to get the mat to fit into the cubbies.

Can I get a direct link to where you got yours? That mat would solve my issue of how I want to get my subwoofer set up and I can just route the cables nicely without having them visible and it makes it look nicer when you have it set up like you do without it showing the paint underneath and such.
