Not sure where to post this, but thought I'd let everyone know that Motoiq.com has a series on the Fiesta ST, and now the story has been updated to reflect that the car owner is turning it into a race car. The series is quite interesting, and the newest installment is on removing weight from the car, and adding a roll cage.

Interesting stuff. I've always liked Mike Kojima's write-ups. Not sure how they're saving 30 lbs with their battery relocation, as if I recall, our batteries barely weigh 30lbs to begin with.

Really cool to see all the work that goes into stripping a car down and putting in a cage. Would love to see what the final weight on the car is once it's all done.
