I've noticed a few members starting to take delivery of their Fiesta ST's so I want to know, just as the thread title states: what is the actual gas mileage you've been getting. I want to hear from everyone, those who consider the gas pedal to be an on off switch to the hypermilers and those in between.

My readout says 24mpg. I'm still on my first tank that was filled by the dealer. I have no idea what octane they put in though. And, I haven't been driving the car in an eco friendly way. They didn't reset the trip when they filled the car so my first tank fill won't give me an accurate reading. I will keep updating this post as I do fill-ups.

first half tank, 180 miles: calculated = X ; readout = 24 ; octane = ? ; driving style = playful

Filled it up yesterday with a total of 700 miles on the odo. The average mpg was 31 on the second tank. I live up a 700' 2- mile hill so that always dings me on my drive home. Also, it's sooo much fun to accelerate up hills and listen to the engine sounds:)

31-32 on a commute that is mostly highway, 34 on a road trip with all highway. This was all with 93 octane. Screwing around, the MPG drops to about 29 or less around town. The ST has over 6000 miles on it.
Babying my gti with 93,lots of coasting, gives around 30 but easily drops to 27 with normal acceleration.

I've spent a lot of time in traffic, but my first tank was 26.3 mpg. Given that I'm still getting comfortable with the transmission and not shifting as efficiently as I could, I'm happy with it. It's better than the 21 mpg I was getting with my 2003 Protege. :)

Mine is right around 24.5, but I must admit I'm not paying to close attention to the shift indicators, and I heal toe down shift every chance I get which indices a lot of engine breaking.

I'm impressed with 24.5 for how I've been driving! I love this car.

For my first 150 miles on a highway trip I averaged 34mpg. Then the shit hit the fan and I haven't really driven it since. I got it back from the dealer today and have reset the trip computer. Will let you know.

Still on my first tank with about 300 miles on 91 octane. Getting 29 on the readout.
Read out is not relevant. What matters is to check how much fuel goes in, vs. how many mile are travelled. Trip computers are almost always optimistic from the factory. All factories.
