Hello All,

Had an issue that started from about 800 miles till now (I have 1740-ish miles as of this morning). It looks like the front passenger seat is way too clsoe to the, um, elbow rest area (not sure what it's called that area thing), see my pics. So when I drive on the freeway the seat vibrates a little and it rubs against the top lid. So when I hit a bit of small bumps the seat vibrates a bit more and the top of the lid goes "brrrrrrr". It's very annoying and it happens at least 8-10 times on my to work. Could that be a manufacturing/assembly error/mistake? Would the dealership be able to help me with this? Also has anyone encountered this type or similar issues? Thank you.

P.S.: dashboard starts rattling too, around the tach area. Boy I don't have 2k miles yet and there's so much rattling already? I understand it ain't 200k dollars car with super-duper leather interior, but still it shouldn't rattle that quick. I mean I'm on a freeway, not some country road. SO if I hit the country road the car would fall apart? Wtf? The quality of the plastic and overall QA/QC while being in 21st century is truly below shit...

my gauge cluster also rattles, more with the Cobb motor mount and Mountune springs. I just give it a light push and it goes away for a few days. Oddly, I had way less rattles and odd noises with my 2011 Fiesta than the ST. I have a console noise and was hoping this was related, but doesn't look like it. With it being winter, the noises are more apparent.

UPDATE: The source of rattle was found to be somewhere in the left bolster of the front passenger seat. When I hit it horizontally with my fist, not too hard, just a bit gentle, it just vibrates. Increasing the impact force by a little bit creates this "brrrrrrrrr" noise inside it. No idea what could it be, but that's the seat for sure as before I test it I opened the lid of the elbow rest area thing (sorry don't know the proper name for it), and as well as isolated the belt buckling thing at the bottom of the passenger seat (with my other hand). So the seat was not touching anything on that side except the connection to the floor. Gonna go to the dealer next week, wanna hear what they have to say. I'm sure it's 100% the seat because when I put my bro in that seat, and we drove for about 40 mins on roads similar to and worse than my typical freeway commute no noise whatsoever was present no matter ow bad of a bump I hit. Puzzled and annoyed... :(
