So, I bought a lightly used MO ST a couple of weeks back in Quebec, Canada where no front plate is required. I live in Manitoba, which requires a front license plate. The Quebec dealer ordered what his parts dept. researched and gave me a new bracket. When I got home, and took it out, it was clear this was not the correct bracket. I quickly called my local Ford dealer and low and behold, the part I have is supposed to be the right bracket! I took the bracket to the dealer, and clearly it does not fit properly, and we found out that the part number I have fits a 2015 regular fiesta. No one can figure this out. My Ford dealer even called Detroit to get an answer and they're baffled as well. Does anyone have a 2014 bracket they took off and can give me the part number on the back??

And.... if you have not ruined your front bracket by drilling it out, do you want to sell it to me?? thx!

That's what the dealer did and the part number came up for the bracket I have. (NOZ-17A385-B)

It says "not used for this application" and even the picture showing is correct; just it only fits regular 2015 fiesta/ not 2014 or 2015 ST
Would be nice if someone could look on the back of their bracket that they removed.

it's normally riveted into the front bumper at the factory. Id avoid that. Instead, use a generous amount of Shoe Goo on the back side of your plate (along w/ some 3M double sided tape just to hold it in place while the Shoe Goo dries)

that way you make no holes, the plate is held on securely and it can be removed leaving no trace if you want to in the future.

Apparently your dealer is easily confused, that is a non-part number, it's catalog text only.

I just snagged a '15 ST VIN off E-bay motors from this car, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Fiesta...tr=true&hash=item235532f99b&item=151753259419 and I'm coming up with P/N D2BZ-17A385-BB http://www.tascaparts.com/oe-ford/d2bz17a385bb

Shoot me your VIN and I'd be happy to dig in to it.

Thanks for all your work! Detroit did get back to my dealer and sent me (though they claimed they would not guarantee a fit) but it works! The difference was the last two letters of the part number. The one I originally had was "AA" and the correct one was "BB" The problem was that my VIN will say that that part never was on my car, which is correct, it was sold in a non-front plate license province. Anyway, My problem is solved and I have a front plate. Thank again!
p.s. I probably had the wrong number in my previous email.
