yep. I changed out 4 off the nuts on my 2011 Fiesta when they were chewed up. The cool thing is the outside cap is 19mm but there is a 18mm nut underneath if/when you round off or break that outer cap.

I plan on replacing the studs with racing style bullet nose.
With all the on and off, paint would just chip off.

Good grief Dave, what were you using to remove those lug nuts a worn out 12 point non-metric socket?

My 2002 SVT has all it's original stainless capped lug nuts intact and they've been off an on countless times over the years.

The Fiesta ST nuts are very fragile. Using a matco wheel socket, ours lasted 3-4 removals. Almost like they are covered in tin

I use either Snap-On or Craftsman 19 mm, 6 pt, deep 3/8 drive, and only remove or install by hand.
After a few times the OEs still get screwed up.
