Hello all, I just made a deal with a pure base Performance Blue Fiesta ST. Thanks to my Fiat Abarth being a lemon, I was able to pick a true hot hatch of my dreams!

Unfortunately, the dealership's delivery got delayed so I'm driving their Chevy Sonic as a loaner... :(

That's a good upgrade there. As for the Sonic loaner, could be worse, could have been a Spark... :p If I was waiting for my awesome car to come in and I got a loaner car I'd pretty much be down for anything, but I'd have some kind of a hard time saying yes to a Spark...I'd have to wear a bag over my head in order to drive it.

I actually test drove a spark 6spd before. I can just say it is so slow, it's dangerous driving that thing around on a highway
Welcome! I'm interested in what happened to your Fiat.

Bought it on April of 2013, had to visit dealership numerous reasons, including bits and pieces there and same electrical problem which ended up burning out the ECU. Needless to say, I lemon'd the car and got my money back.

It was a fun ride while it lasted, but with that many trips to the dealership for a brand new car, it grew old on me quick.
It sounded like it all worked out for you. I very briefly considered one. I was worried about all of the things that have made Fiat (in)famous! :)

In fairness, any make and model can be a lemon. I really wanted the Fiat 500 Arbarth to be less-cheeky Mini Cooper S, but it wasn't/isn't. All the car mags think it's fun, but nothing like the FiST. Join us in talking about how great the FiST is. :)
Welcome!!
Thanks all! I just got a call that my FiST is in!

I haven't met a single Fiat owner who liked their car.
Where are you in Cali? I have an ETA of next week in the SF Bay Area for tux black with Recaros.

Sounds like there's going to be a while bunch of us around here. Pretty soon somebody will have to start thinking about getting a regular meet started.

Heading up to Angeles Crest Highway tomorrow. See how my Fiesta will handle those turns :D
I hear there are some pretty bad rockslides up at the top before the tunnel, keep an eye out for them.

Man, now you've got me wanting to go up...

I'll most likely hangout around the newly paved areas and GMR by the observatory.

Any time you might want to get together and/or do some runs, let me know.

I'll be totally down. I'm gonna be heading over to Angeles Crest later today but certainly won't be the last time.
This is gonna sound weird but were you at Fry's in Burbank yesterday? There was a PB FiST there with dealer plates still on it.
That's funny,
I was at both Fry's Oxnard and Woodland Hills yesterday.
