Less weight and more power for the ST, not to mention go-cart handling. The FiST is much better looking to me too. The only semi negative might be cargo room. Plus the infotainment system in the Ford is nigh on impossible to upgrade, which doesn't bother me...

I've never been a fan of the tC. I can almost guarantee that the Fiesta ST is a better-sorted package, not to mention a bit more niche and special. It's an extremely rewarding car to drive on a winding road.

The Fiesta ST has a tuned suspension and rides like a tank compared to the tC.......test drive one and you'll notice very quickly over bumpy stuff. The ST is a corner slaying rollerskate and rides like one....and I love mine.

I built a 2005 tC into a very fast time trial, street, etc car, $$$$$$$, it was the first to have a carbon kevlar roof, many many one off parts, then hardly drove it as a bit overly done, finally sold it in 2012 with 8k miles on it for 1/4th the investment and thousands of hours of time into it. Before that I had the first turbo 1ZZ Matrix and made it very fast and a blast to drive. The ST is just more fun right out of the box, with little or no mods far quicker than those cars until I spend a ton of time and money on them. It will be more reliable than an NA car that has been boosted, stock rides a bit rough but handles incredibly well. I am modding my ST a bit though originally planned to keep it to a minimum, something I seemed to have not been able to cure but even stock I fell for it in the first minute I drove it.
