Steve @ TASCA has got a killer deal on these for anyone that is interested. $417 + shipping, email him through the forum. I placed my order yesterday.

H&R makes the springs for Bilstein (and Bilstein makes the shocks for H&R)

Unless youre going to be running ALOT of track days. A fixed rate damper will be fine. This is considered Fords auto-x kit.

The rates are ~100lbs more front and rear than stock ST rates and will have better rebound control than stock w/ the obvious ability to adjust your height.

Street, auto-x and the occasional track day.... This is a good set up.

If you are planing on running race tires or running auto-x nationals, I'd go with the BC's.

Ive run plenty of compression/rebound adjustable shocks before. And found Id set them once then never touch the settings again. These can be revalved if needed too.

35mm or so sounds about right. That is what the H&R springs will lower an ST.

I was originally thinking about just getting those but they will likely overpower the rebound of the stock struts/shocks.

This combo is the cheapest out there for a high quality matched set up that can be custom valved w/ lifetime warranty if desired.

To anyone that has seen the FSWerks SEMA FiST, these are like the H&R coilovers that they used. That will give you an idea of how low one can adjust them.

Yup. Bummer about the knuckles fitment. We knew it had different ones, but the strut diameter must have changed? I'd wager they do fit as the knuckle change was a camber and bump steer change like w/ the SVT Focus. But, I dont want to be the guinea pig so my order has been cancelled.

So at the moment the BC's seem to be the only choice.

I wonder how fswerks ran the H&R's. Because the strut bodies are the same (so in reality the Bilsteins should fit too)

Wow, that is some impressive work!

Been looking around all day trying to compare pictures etc of parts from various manufacturers. Pumaspeed shows that ALL their coilovers offered also fit all the mk7 Fiesta's including the ST. They do have a *different* ST Bilstein listing that says they worked with Bilstein to upgraded the valving.

But that indicates that all mk7 struts should be interchangeable with our ST's.

So these are base Fiesta fitment? I think that means they'll also fit a Mazda 2, I used to have one and they share a lot of parts. Equivalent Bilsteins for the 2 go for 800, I should go tip the guys on my old forum off.

Do that only after we really find out if they fit or not ;)

They fit fine ;) Spring rate is only 100lbs more than stock, so not much stiffer ride than the stock set up but with a little less bounciness as the Bilstein's have better dampening control. There is still a little bounce in the rear at 80+ on uneven road surfaces, which alot of it has to do with the short wheelbase. But, over all much better control than stock with the added height control and ability to corner weight.

Alignment right now is at 1.5' up front which is the least it would go without camber bolts. I will get them as on the street I want to run 1'.

Install w/ alignment was 3ish hours. We weren't in a hurry and did a corner at a time. With two people we coulda had one do the front while the did the rear shocks...

These are a direct bolt on.

No install issues at all (other than camber in the front). But, that was semi-expected as the knuckle has more camber built into it than a normal Fiesta.

Ordered H&R camber bolts this AM (p/n TC212) to dial out that last .5'

The ride has been fine all winter. Once they settled I had to raise them just a little bit. Still at the camber from the initial install. I do have H&R camber bolts to install once my summer wheels/tires go back on for the ease of adjustability.
