Hi all,

Thought I'd introduce myself. Name is Con. Live in Oz. Originally from Canada though!

Picked up a PB Fiesta ST about two months ago. Love it. Come from a long line of fast, modded up cars, but decided to take a few steps back and enjoy the simpler things of a hot hatch.

Done a few things so far. The only thing remaining to do is a tune, but waiting for more to come out until I decide which to go with. Mountune isn't covered by warranty down here.

Mods:
-Mountune short shift kit
-Bluefin Stage 1
-TWM M1 Abrams knob
-H&R springs (40mm drop)
-Stubby antenna (not in pic)
-Custom catback, non-res exhaust from HiTech Mufflers here in Sydney. Absolutely love it. Crackly, a bit of rasp, but not....overly loud.

Probably won't do anything else. The car is right where I want it to be. Perfect balance of handling and speed. I'm not going to make a 1.6L turbo into a wheel spin monster.

Cheers!

Welcome! Nice looking car! Did you paint or plastidip the wheels?
Thanks! Painted gloss black. I'm not a fan of plasti dip.
Sweet three door! Sadly unavailable in your homeland...
To be honest, I wouldn't have bought this car if it only came in five door for us. I'm not a fan of how it looks really. Three door is what best suits this little car.
Con!

Just joined forum.. In discussions with 2 ford dealers to get a ST.. Have to wait till next year though.

Bought a fiesta metal 12 months ago, love it, but test drove new ST, and I had to have one..

I am also a sydneyier!! Been looking at a few different performance mods for it, so i know what to get and when.

Hi tech mufflers do a good job? They the ones in the city?

Love the look of your car.. I am choosing between the white and the black..

But do a similar thing with the wheels with mine, either painted, orrrr i know a company that has got a special coating that is nylon based, sounds strange, but really durable, and has a sort of memory. Got to done to one of my cars, looks great, easy to clean..

Got one of my fiesta wheels repaired from a guy in botany, mag wheel repairer, brilliant job, fantastic guy, so may take new wheels to him.

Should talk if we both want similar stuff done to cars (mods) for better price maybe.. Been talking to puma speed a bit for my metal, they will look after me,

Hey dude. Sorry for the delay. It's an addicting little car. Cost/fun ratio, this has to be one of the best I've ever owned.

Yeah HiTech is awesome. They do a great job. Exxy, but well worth it. White for me is far too common and overdone when it comes to black wheels, so I went blue. I do like the shade of it.

Mod wise I don't think I will do anything else to this car. It's not really worth it. I can't expect a 1.6L turbo to perform like a V8!!! It's where this car should be. Anything else and I will be looking at wheel spin, loss of traction, etc.
