Hello all! I am a member over at the Faction and have 2 Fiesta's in the garage. I have the 1.0 and my son recently got a 1.6. So, why am I over here? I am super interested in the ST and will most likely own one in the future. I turn my own wrenches and have been modding for a few decades. I hope y'all don't mind me hanging out on this site

Welcome! How do you like the 1.0L? I very nearly bought one, but the forced trim level and limited options you could select with it drove me to go for the ST. I still yearn for a nice little sedan with it though.

I have the hatch as I think it looks sportier. I like the 1.0. Great little engine. My only dislike is the tranny gear ratios Ford spec'd. I get that it is supposed to be a high MPG car but... they could have done a better job selecting ratio's that dont rely on the turbo being in boost to get you to the next gear. The IB5 mated to the 1.6 is more suited for the 1.0. A swap like that would make the car a hoot to drive. I am waiting for the Focus 1.0's Durashift 6-speed as a donor swap.
