I'm looking into buying an ST, but not sure it has room for my hockey bag and sticks. Does anyone have a photo or experiences with fitting that kind of stuff in the car?

I would assume the seats need to be folded down.

You'll almost definitely have to fold down the seats. There may be enough room to fit them diagonally across the back seats/trunk area, but you might also be able to stow them up the middle between the front seats.

That wouldn't be all that bad. Is the back seat split so that you only might have to fold down one side? I would be very curious to know that diagonal dimension OR a straight line from the hatch to the radio. I suppose I could go to the dealer with the tape measure and start taking dimensions.

I can get you a better answer later. The split is 60/40, so you should be able to put down the 60% side and thread it down the middle.

I'll see if I can get a good measurement later when I have access to the car.

I bet it could hold a few without folding down the rear seat, going from the front passenger footwell, between the seats, in to the driver side rear seat area.

I have a Fiesta SES and hockey sticks barely fit. You can't really have anyone sitting in the front passenger seat. My hockey bag fits fine in the hatch.

With the back seats folded down, the longest straight object you can comfortably squeeze in the back of a Fiesta is around 1.8 to 2m in length.
(5'11" to 6'6" in American thinggies)

Not exactly - maybe wedged up in the gap between the headrest, side of the car and the roof if you wanted that 2m object as opposed to a 1.8m object. (and rear seat/seats down of course).
