It seems that there has been a lot of talk about this exceptional J-Line intercooler from Mishimoto. I've read threads from here and other forums, there's quite a bit of buzz on it, but no definitive "truths" on the parts to order or how to install.

I felt the need to help the community and make a very comprehensive install video that goes over the entire install from start to finish.

I hope you all find this rewarding and useful. (Grab a beer before you click the link LOL)

Part lists are in the video description.

And here are some pictures from the install:

Wow...just saw it in its entirety...much more involved than I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong I'm still installing it and not at all intimidated but just not as simple as it has been played to be. Did you take the extra bit of bumper of the bottom for the entire 51% increase in surface area?

Takes some time. If I had to do it on a friend's car knowing the process through and through, I'd budget a comfortable 6 hours. Anyone who has not done this, I'd book the weekend.

I filmed the video over a span of 4 days.

And I did not take off the bottom area, so I'm only running the 36% increase of stock opening vs modified bumper opening.

I wish we could avoid having to cut the vertical supports on that plastic piece. Wonder if a heat gun could convince it to bend around an intercooler hose...
I believe you 'might' be able to. I cannot say with 100% certainty because I have not personally tried. But when we do your install we will try it out and if if works, we can report back here for others to read :)
