The green is kinda the marketing color of the Fiesta, at least the Lime Squeeze color was for the '11-'13. It's a car marketed more for the 20-something crowd and that color just makes the car stand out. That's my theory anyway. That being said, I see very few greens around here. Being Texas I see very few small cars so very few Fiestas in general and the ones I do see are the bland colors. If I was getting a regular Fiesta I'd be getting it in Green Envy. If the ST didn't come in orange I'd be getting it in green. I just like the bright colors, it adds color to the road of black, white, and silver cars.Same here. WTF is up with that color?
Might be he never even heard of the Fiesta ST so he was wondering why your Focus ST was so small.I think I confused a FoST owner this morning by waving to him. He was looking at my car but seemed confused. Maybe his first FiST sighting?
I was headed towards OKC. Saw that one around 8:30 near Davis, OK I believe and they were headed South. I see the Focus STs pretty often now.I was on the road on July 11th on I-35 as well; final destination was OKC; returned to DFW in the evening. Didn't see a FiST that day; only have seen four (2 white, 1 red, 1 black) so far in the wild...saw a new blue Focus ST yesterday on 114 headed toward Grapevine around 5:30 PM on my way home from work.
I'm in an orange one but I rarely ever make it into Lewisville. Here in Louisville there aren't too many running around from what I've seen, at least locally. It's just me, a red one and a silver. It's a big city though so I'm sure there're others somewhere.
Wasn't mine as I just picked up my car a week ago. I'm mostly in the Souhtlake/Grapevine area or Roanoke.I might've seen you by chance then! I've seen an orange one, but only twice, and the last time was like half a year ago or more.
While I have taken that road before, it's been awhile. You'll find my molten orange mostly around Southlake/Grapevine and Roanoke and in between on 114.On Nov 30 around 2:00 PM spotted an MO FiST near the 114/121 interchange heading away from Dallas/Irving - took the 121 toward Grapevine Mills Mall.
I would think the tracks would do some damage to the wheels since we have such low profile tires. The sides of the tracks really are all that keeps your car going straight through there. I took my previous car through one several times and it always wondered back and forth bouncing off either side. Not to mention the damage it does to your paint. I only took my old car through there because the paint was already done for and those car washes do a really good job of cleaning quickly.I've seen five total in two years in the DFW area - that's it; none in the town I live in - Flower Mound. On a side note - was that a self serve car wash or a full blown one you were at? I'd like to find a non do-it-yourself car wash in DFW, but am concerned about damage (the tracks, etc.)
