Reconnected with a great friend who I lost touch with, turns out he works at the Ford dealership where I bought my car! He thought I had a Focus ST until I had him walk around it. After letting him drive 2 miles he said he'd rather have a FiST. Said he'd never seen one on the lot til I brought mine in for early oil change, and this place has 3 Shelby Mustangs on the showroom floor.

Finally saw another here in Houston on my way to work. It was a Green Envy on highway 59. Pulled along side and gave a wave but I'm not sure he saw or understood. Probably thought I was some fool who wanted to race in traffic. Anyhow, 4th largest city in the nation and it's a month and a half before I see another ST.

I finally saw 1 downtown Toronto last Saturday as I was headed down to the Toronto Autoshow. A silver one driven by an older fella

I was on a business trip in Mexico this week, and saw a Molten Orange Fiesta ST in León (area where WRC Mexico happens!). Apparently they love the Focus RS in Mexico, and I saw a few FoSTs as well, but only one FiST. I think I'll be going to the factory in Cuatitlan on my next trip, to see the birthplace of all our (US/Canada/Mexican) Fiestas!

I was just at the dealership and saw my salesman. We talked about the Fiesta ST for a while, he says the dealership sells them quick, maybe 20 since mine.

We just don't cross paths.

On the other hand, there are probably 2,000,000 people in the south bay and maybe 50 Fiesta STs assuming all dealerships sell them at the same rate so that is still a needle in a hay stack.

Same here. WTF is up with that color?
The green is kinda the marketing color of the Fiesta, at least the Lime Squeeze color was for the '11-'13. It's a car marketed more for the 20-something crowd and that color just makes the car stand out. That's my theory anyway. That being said, I see very few greens around here. Being Texas I see very few small cars so very few Fiestas in general and the ones I do see are the bland colors. If I was getting a regular Fiesta I'd be getting it in Green Envy. If the ST didn't come in orange I'd be getting it in green. I just like the bright colors, it adds color to the road of black, white, and silver cars.

I think I confused a FoST owner this morning by waving to him. He was looking at my car but seemed confused. Maybe his first FiST sighting?
Might be he never even heard of the Fiesta ST so he was wondering why your Focus ST was so small. :p
