Hi;
I have ordered a 2015 ST on 05/29 b/c Ford was no longer accepting orders for 2014's. See att. PDF for details. I will be told when it is being built down in Mexico. I could not find ANY models exactly built in this configuration inside the U. S. I am told by the senior dealership folks that the first I could expect to get this ST w/b mid-Sept., due to model-year changeovers. I am due Costco & Ford discounts when it is delivered. I expect my bottom-line to be ~$24k. I figure that this w/b my last car buy. I am retired.

I plan to get the same performance upgrades to this ST that I have on my 2014 SVT Mystichrome Cobra: CAI & Bassani-style cat.-back exhaust, probably a Cobb set-up. I will not violate factory warranty or Calif. SMOG laws, so I may be waiting a while to get this done. I will see what is allowed by Ford, if anything is.

I have found on the Web that there is a new color coming for 2015, called Electric Spice Metallic (E. S. M.), Code H8. There are also changes to the rear spoiler, front fascia, AND the headlights will be new LED units. See att. PDF. I would love to get an ST in that color but the Molten Orange is probably safer: In the Bronze or light tan cars I've had, I have been rear-ended 15 times since 1972! The M. O. is very visible in the fog, which we get here night & mornings, vs. the E. S. M. color. Black is hard to keep up, I don't like "ticket-me-red", and silver, gray, & white disappear in the fog.

This is my "insurance" against damaging my Cobra (33k mi.) again, which I also got rear-ended in while sitting in traffic @ a stoplight behind a p/u on 10/23/13. It was a sunny day. $8,000 damage (other driver's) & 118 days loss of possession. Parts are hard to find for a 9-year-old SVT Cobra. The ST w/b my Daily Driver.

ATB, Bronzit.
I got word last week from my Internet sales person at my local dealer that my order for my FiST will be in on October 1. That would make it 4 months & a couple days from my order date of 29 May. I am now working on accumulating my down payment.

My 05/29-ordered 2015 Molten Orange 2015 ST (which I'm naming, "Tangello") arrived & I drove her home Friday, 09/26. After driving it a few days to get used to it, I LOVE this little 'Hot Hatch'! It seems that I have a lot to learn about what she has to offer! My iPhone 5S/64Gb paired up & plays automatically, very easily.

My OTD cost was $26,016.90 w/tax, license, & other necessary So. Calif. fees. I opted for services & other options @ signing that added $5,808.72 more, figuring @ 72, I'm not going to be doing much -if any- work on her myself anymore, and I can afford it. So that $24,421.69 as-advertised price with Molten Orange paint, moonroof, and Smoke Gray Recaros (no nav. but w/My Ford Touch/Sony sound system) quickly climbs to a bottom-line of $32,573.30. My 2004 Mystichrome Cobra will now stay parked & protected most of the time. My Madeline likes Tangello so much that I can see here thinking real hard about replacing her 2001 540ia w/a Performance Blue one for herself!

Our youngest Daughter Jen took it for a drive & LOVES it, too! So Ol' Dad scores 1 for us oldsters! Who sez you have to be a young person to like this Fiesta ST? I am looking forward to doing some upgrades, but just not loud ones.

Awesome, looks great! You will love that car even more as time goes on. I kind of wish I had shopped around for a Molten Orange now, it looks amazing and I hear pictures do not do it justice.

You paid too much for sure...but if you don't mind spending money, take a look at mountuneusa.com...if you think your FiST is frisky stock, install some mountune modification parts, and you will love it even more!

That's relative. Not every one is privy to a fantastic deal on these cars. Plus he opted for a lot of packages that most buyers would not; which he seems OK with, so again, it's relative. No reason to say he paid too much when that's a matter of opinion / perspective and not a matter of his own comfort with what he paid. I think the focus should be on whether or not he is happy with the car, which it seems he is. I've seen a lot of people pay less, but I've seen quite a few pay around the same.

I'd say he paid about MSRP for the OTD price including TTL. The extra $5k spent on whatever it was, I wouldn't have spent myself.
No Sil3nt611, I paid invoice + Tax & gov't. fees + the $5,808 for the options a 72-yr.-old can afford, NOT MSRP which was much more. Remember, this is So. California. I agree that most people wouldn't have bought the options & I did hesitate, but I now have bumper-to-bumper protection including ALL maint. + paint/body + Ford's optional security pkg. The only place I have to negotiate is maint. for performance options I will have them install/cover. I'm looking @ LSD (mountune or Quaife), ST-215, mud flaps, & Cobb AccessPort V3. I will wait until I get past 1,000 mi. or more, first.

I was trying to say you didn't spend too much for the car plus TTL and fees before the $5,808 extra cost. I still wouldn't have spent the extra money, but if you think it's worth it that's what matters. All I want is the factory installed options on my car that I order, no dealer installed crap or extra warranty (unless I can work out a good deal on that).

Bronzit you will like the Quaife LSD best out there for the money for ease of Maint. aka no maint required can run any fluid for lube that your trans requires. You will be very happy with the ST 215 if you are looking to continue your full coverage warreties... Enjoy

It's all about preference. I chose not to buy a maintenance plan, because I like working on my cars, and it's of no value to me to pay someone else to do minor up keep. To some, this may be a great convince. I went cheap with my car. I opted not to have reccaros or sat-nav, but I plan to use my ST mainly for highway cruising, and the navigation system won't work in Europe anyways. I'll see if I regret not getting the reccaros...

Ordered my Fiesta ST on 9/1/14 and still haven't received it yet. The Ford rep won't give me a straight answer on why it's taking so long. Monday will be 26 weeks. Is anyone else having this problem?

Sounds like they screwed up and didn't put in the order right away or at all or the factory screwed up somehow. It shouldn't take 6 months for an ordered car. If your dealer isn't saying something then I'd bet something is wrong on their end. If they aren't saying anything and you haven't put any money into it yet then I'd look into ordering from elsewhere. Sure it will take another 3 months but no telling if you'll ever actually get the car from this dealer at this rate.

The dealer put the order in as part of their inventory. I'm not exactly sure when they put the order in but I received the vin on 10/30/2014. I called Ford customer service for an update in mid November. They told me the car was in New Jersey and would be delivered any day. I called again in early December and they told me the car was in Mexico. The problem was then escalated and I received a Ford rep as a contact. Since then, the car was shipped from Mexico, stuck in customs for 4 weeks and now is hung up by weather delays. The car has been changed in their system as Sold (even though I still don't have the car) and I'm receiving really poorly timed "how do you like your new car" survey emails. This is a disaster. I keep requesting a detailed report of the order from start to finish but they continue to ignore my request.
