I installed an ATP down pipe last week. I didn't take a before and after reading of the under hood temp but it was noticeably hotter when I lifted the hood immediately after a drive. It was so bad I think it was slowing the car down. So I got some Dei titanium wrap and double wrapped the down pipe. The under hood temp feels lower and the car feels quicker.

Then you would need something to simulate the rear o2 sensor, I always keep my cats so I don't know if that is for sure but I believe that is what is causing the cel, or it's looking to see a specific drop in readings so if you don have the rear o2 its not seeing the change it needs to see so it's throwing the code

been thinking of doing this... and wrapping the manifold as well..
I have a wrapped header on my svt and it made a world of difference.. i can only imagine the benefit to doing it to the FiST...

now to get the wrap and courage to do so..
first new car and haven't even made my first payment yet. hahahaha

been looking at the ebay header wrap in red... not convinced its as good as dei...so i will likely wrap it with the DEI first... and then the red to give me the look i want.. and it would be double insulated/wrapped..
