Insurance rates
I was pleased to find out that my insurance didn't go up much from my 2011 Honda CR-Z. I was paying somewhere around $47 monthly. I have a $500 deductible, full glass, collision, and liability through Geico. My new rate is $58 per month for the same coverage. Bear in mind, I'm 28 and have a clean driving record with no tickets or accidents.

I was worried about this too until I got a quote that it will be around $79 and I'm paying $75 now
I'm right around $75 a month with slightly better coverage than required and a low deductible on the comprehensive.

Wow.... Insurance is cheap for you all.. Even with the highest possible discount through ICBC, I will be paying twice what some of you pay.
Just checked, Progressive wants $90 per year more for the FiST than my 2001 Focus, going from no collision coverage to $2000 deductible collision and comprehensive w/ $0 glass. All other coverage pretty standard. So around $8 a month. I can live with that.
Priced out AARP (yes I'm an old fart), and for all three cars they want more for comparable coverage.
