Or does this car feel way, way better in sport mode? The shifter and throttle feel smoother. Maybe it's placebo, but wow.

Except in the wet, I drive most of the time in Sport Mode.
I get in. Put on seat belt. Push start button. Turn off stability control. Release ebrake. Drive...

I believe in stability control, it's a good feature for mostly everyone to use. Just like ABS I like to be able to do the controlling of the car instead of the car controlling what happens. If there is a difference in how the car reacts, I'll leave it on a couple times to see.

Sport mode only adjusts the TC and ESC, nothing with throttle or shifting.

So says everything I'm reading, but the throttle calibration seems different. It's tough to describe.

It's possible I'm crazy.

Naww You not Krazy ...Its just Mental Horsepower like "sticker's" make you faster your foot just moves quicker and your butt feels it faster too ;)
It feels mostly the same, but I thought I was having an easier time in 1st and 2nd, especially getting the car into gear from a stop. And 1st seemed to have a little more juice. Basically just felt more linear and mechanical, less like there was an ECU constantly adjusting the fuel injection.

I'll do a little more A-B and try and figure out if I'm just a victim of the Placebo Effect.

Maybe I am being dumb, but I can't get the car into sport mode. I press the esc button and it just turns it off. I have two states: on or off.
Pressing the button turns off ESC ('sport mode'). Holding it down for a few seconds disables traction control entirely.
Ah thank you. I'll play with it when I get a chance.
