I had a great time at the last meetup. Unfortunately, the Bear Mountain parking employees kind of fragmented the group at the end of the drive and pushed us into the paid parking area. I learned from Keith that the top of the mountain is the place to go and has free parking and awesome views. Regardless, the meet at Sonic was fun and the drive to the park was lots of fun. Again, many thanks to MikeTank89 for leading that.

I'm thinking roughly once a month is a decent frequency for meets/cruises. I'm proposing another meet for July. We had a decent turnout for the first event and I think it will get better as word gets out. We can do the same as the last one or if someone has another proposal we can discuss that.
What dates in July work for everyone? The first weekend is out due to most folks having family events, but do the 12th or 19th work better for everyone?

at this point, either is good for me.

Next time, we could ride through the park from Bear mtn and stop at some location along the lakes for pics. The SE end of Harriman park has some very nice twisties (we entered the park there). On the way home, I had a real good time leaning the car left and right . Anyway, there are a lot of roads that wander through Harriman Park

Maybe stop at OCC or the Ford dealership

My salesman at that dealership has a FoST. He works Saturdays so he couldnt come to the meet but i could talk to him about going there.

I have been to meets at dealerships. The dealer would host a bbq and use it as a promotion plus the staff likes to do food and see different cars

That sounds pretty cool. Not sure if they would do something like that but it would be sweet! They don't have a ton of space in the lot that's the only bad thing. Doesn't hurt to look into it though.

The 19th would work best for me since I'm driving out to Ohio to visit my brother the weekend before. Another suggestion would be to go up into the Shawangunk Mountains in Ulster County. There are a bunch of twisty roads and the Village of New Paltz offers a lot of great places to stop and eat or grab a beer.

Bear Mountain works just fine for me as I'm in Putnam County and very familiar with the area. I picked up my car this week and have been itching to meet up with other ST owners...I'm still the only one in town!

Not sure what the start of July looks like for me yet, so I can't say either way. Would love to see everyone again, though.

OK, I'd like to keep this idea alive. I was thinking for a bit that we could roll this in with the Upstate NY ST club run they are planning for the 20th. That's not going to work for me because I have to fly to San Diego that day for work. So I'd like to keep this one open even though it would be great to have a larger group meet. Also, MikeTank89 proposed a short notice meet/cruise for this coming Sunday at the Sonic in Newburgh again for anyone who wants to jump in.
