On Saturday 2/15/14 a few of us are doing a Track Day at Willow Springs Raceway (big track).
Anyone is invited to join us.
You can run your car or just come to watch.

I will be having breakfast at:
Denney's at the Sand Canyon exit on CA14.
It is a good suggestion to have breakfast as cuisine at the track is very limited.
So you arrive early enough to accomplish this.

I will be leaving there no later than about 5:45 AM.
This should allow us to arrive and do prep things to our cars prior to registration and the driver's meeting.

Nobody told me, I didn't see anything in the SoCal Focus Fiesta facebook group or on fiestast.net

also I've been trying to figure out how to approach the topic of "taking my first ever new car to the track". I do not have a great history with cars - I've had 20+ and I'm only 28. I guess a better way of stating it is explaining to the wifey that "going to the track will not break the car or void the warranty."

First there will be other women there for her to talk to so bring her along.
Willow has no walls or tire barriers to run into.
Driving on a closed course is safer than the freeway and no speeding tickets.
You are already doing mods to your car.
You can signup for the beginner's group, get the free instruction, and call it a learning experience.

Or you could just come up and watch and take photos.

Anyway you would be most welcome.

Hey Dave, picking up my son along the way, hope to be at Dennys at 5:30. He runs late most of the time but should be there at 545a at the latest
